There appears to be some confusion about school arrangements during this unprecedented time.
The guidelines say, stay at home. However everyone knows some roles are vital to the COVID19 crisis and therefore can’t. The provision schools are providing is for the children of these workers.
The provision is not educational based it is an Emergency Child Care provision.
Please, if you can, help us to do our bit for social distancing. If you are at home or can work from home, please keep your children with you.
We want everyone safe and well.
Make sure you and your children follow these general principles to prevent spreading any respiratory virus:
If you’re worried about your symptoms, please call NHS 111 – don’t go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.
This helpline has been set up to answer questions about the virus related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline.
