Mr Crompton - Family Support Worker

Introduction

Family Support

Hello, my name is Mr Crompton and I am the Family Support Worker at Holme Slack Community Primary School.

My role is to help ensure that every child has a happy, safe and positive experience throughout their time at school. I work closely with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing, help them develop positive friendships and provide guidance with any worries or concerns they may have.

I am also here to support parents and carers. This may include helping families access services and advice relating to housing, benefits, emotional wellbeing or other family needs. Sometimes, having someone to listen and offer support can make a real difference.

At Holme Slack, we value strong relationships between home and school and I am always happy to meet with parents and carers to offer support and guidance where needed.

If you would like to speak with me, please contact the school office to arrange a meeting at a convenient time.

Working Together

I work closely with the local Family Hub and a range of external agencies to help ensure families receive the right support when needed.
