Hello,

My name is Annie Devey and I am the Pastoral Learning Mentor at Holme Slack Community Primary School. My role is to ensure that our students have a happy, safe and positive experience during their time with us. I offer support in various ways, including helping children build friendships, addressing any worries or concerns they may have as well as providing emotional support.

In addition to supporting our students, I also assist families in accessing the right resources and support. Whether it’s guidance on housing, benefits, or other needs, I am here to help. Building strong relationships with families is something I value deeply and sometimes, all it takes is someone to listen—and I’m here for that.

If you’d like to meet with me, feel free to call the school and ask for me or we can arrange a meeting at a time that works best for you. My working hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am also available on the school gates during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times if you wish to chat.

I work closely with the local Family Hub and regularly collaborate with various agencies that provide additional support. Below, you will find links to helpful resources for you and your family.
