Registration:

The school day starts at 8.50am.

The school gate opens at 8:45am and pupils are expected to be in class by 8.50am for the register. Any pupils arriving after the gate closes at 8.50am will be marked as late and must be accompanied by an adult to the school office and signed in on the ipad.

Morning break times:

Children have a 15 minute morning break between 10:15 and 10:45.

Lunch:

Reception lunch break is 11.50am - 12:35pm.

Year 1 and Year 2 lunch break is 12.00pm - 12.45pm

Year 3 to Year 6 lunch break is 12.15pm - 1pm.

Afternoon playtimes:

KS1 children have an afternoon playtime 2:15-2:30pm

School finishes:

School finishes at 3:20pm

Total opening time:

33.25 hours per week

Getting to school:

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have a bike and scooter storage facility. If your child comes to school on a bike or scooter we do expect them to wear a helmet for their safety.  If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and not on the staff car park or on any of the yellow lines outside of school.

Drop-off and collection arrangements:

At the beginning of the day, children are encouraged to walk by themselves from the gates (manned by staff) into school.

At the end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. 

If for whatever reason, your usual pick-up arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.
