New Nursery Provision Opening September 2026

We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand-new Nursery Provision from September 2026, providing children with the very best start to their educational journey.

Our Nursery and Reception classes will be led by Mrs Molyneux, our Lancashire leading Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, supported by our dedicated Nursery Lead Teaching Assistant, Mrs S Robinson. Together, they will provide a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Laying Strong Foundations for Future Success

Our Nursery has been carefully designed to provide high-quality early learning experiences that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum. Through play-based learning, exploration and carefully planned activities, children will develop the confidence, independence and key skills needed for lifelong learning.

A Smooth Transition into School

One of the greatest benefits of our new Nursery provision is the seamless transition into Reception. By learning within the same setting, children will:

  • Become familiar with the school environment, routines and expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with staff and peers before starting Reception.
  • Develop confidence and independence in a secure, nurturing setting.
  • Experience a consistent approach to teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.
  • Be well-prepared academically, socially and emotionally for the next stage of their education.

This continuity helps children settle quickly and happily, ensuring they are ready to flourish from their very first day in Reception.

Developing Early Reading Skills

Children will benefit from our successful Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised phonics programme. Through engaging and age-appropriate activities, Nursery children will begin developing essential listening, speaking and phonological awareness skills, creating strong foundations for future reading and writing success.

Flexible Childcare to Support Families

We understand the demands of modern family life and are pleased to offer a range of flexible childcare options:

  • 15 and 30 hours funded childcare accepted
  • Paid Nursery sessions available
  • Wraparound care available from 7:50am until 6:00pm
  • Rising threes welcome
  • High-quality care and education within a safe, nurturing school environment

Our extended provision offers families the convenience of consistent care throughout the day while ensuring children benefit from enriching experiences, familiar staff and a seamless routine.
