Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19.) Those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds are considered to be amongst those hardest hit.
Schools have been allocated funding From the DfE for specific activities aimed at supporting pupils to catch up for lost teaching over the previous months. Schools have the flexibility to spend the funding that best fits their circumstances and cohort needs.
As a school, we have been allocated £15,926. We have appointed a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to the Inclusion Team, this role will support children through school, as identified through our rigorous data analysis.
